Relationships can be the source of your pain
and the joy in life.
Often, the very patterns that cause suffering once played an important role in helping us cope.
Have you taken time to investigate the relationships in your life?
What might become possible by understanding them more deeply?
Hello, my name is Kelly Nguyen, and I am a licensed psychotherapist who works with individuals and couples to explore the emotional patterns that shape how we relate to ourselves and others.
Relationships can be especially challenging when we’ve had limited guidance around conflict, closeness, or expressing our needs. Over time, people often develop familiar ways of relating — patterns that may have once been protective, but now contribute to distance, frustration, or a sense of being stuck. These patterns can show up in friendships, romantic relationships, or at work, even when there is a strong desire for something different.
Making changes in relationships often begins with understanding how you show up with others — especially in moments that feel familiar or hard to interrupt — not to judge or fix yourself, but to become curious about what’s happening. This kind of work asks for a willingness to look inward and an openness to reflection, so that change can emerge over time.
If you are serious about understanding your relationships more deeply and making room for change, you are welcome to contact me for a consultation.
*** At this time, I am not accepting new patients. You are still welcome to contact me if you would like help connecting with another therapist or if you are considering waiting until an opening becomes available.
